EcoVadis is a globally recognized platform that helps organizations manage their corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and assess their performance against international standards. Companies use this platform to gain insights into how effectively they integrate CSR principles into their business operations and management systems. EcoVadis uses a scoring scale from 0 to 100 to evaluate companies on various CSR-related issues, including labor rights, environment, ethics, sustainable procurement, and human rights across 200 industry categories.

The award is highly sought after by many companies for the recognition it provides and for its emphasis on sustainable development and responsible business practices. The assessment system is based on leading standards such as the UN Global Compact Network, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, ISO 26000, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the CERES roadmap, overseen by an international committee.
